Butt Plugs
So, I was chatting online today with a friend of mine, and the topic of butt plugs came up. And I can't stop thinking about them.
I mean, I am a pretty sexually open guy. I guess I don't have a lot of experience with sex toys though. And I am especially confused by butt plugs. So, you jsut put it in and leave it there? What happens after that? And how the hell do those super huge ones go up there. Help me out here dear readers...
Oh, and if you fart with a butt plug in, does it fall out?

You should get a butt plug. It might make you more open with your butt. literally!! heh.
OK- the really big ones fit up there with the aid of drugs.
As for their use... yes, you can just leave them up there if you wish. Your partner can kind of punch the base or jiggle it to cause pleasurable sensations in the wearer's anal cavity. Or you can pull it in and out like a dildo- think of a dildo that looks like big beads strung together (or actual butt beads)- as you work it (them) in and out, it stretches your asshole open and then relaxes it as you take more before you take the next big part, which some people find exciting. A butt plug is like that, but without the multiple expansions.
I think a lot of it comes down to it being a mental thing- one gets off more by the idea of having something like that up their butt and the idea that someone else is putting it there more than how the thing actually feels. That's me at least.
And yes, unless they're lodged up there really well, like the base is fully past the sphincter (sp?), then they usually have a hard time staying firmly in place.

Well, I think Rayn pretty much explained it all. Personally, I don't need anything THAT large inside me. I mean, if your butt needs to be "plugged", then maybe you should just stop shoving things in it for a while?
