Sashimi tuna dip at Ping Pong
Ping Pong on Broadway in Lakeview has some detractors, but I don't know why. I love the food, I love the cute servers and I love the environment.
But, more than any of that I love their sashimi tuna dip. It is chunks of raw tuna mixed in a ginger mayo sauce or something, with pieces of avocado and cucumber chopped up. This is served in a bowl with ice in it and a side of crunchy wonton like strips served on the side. Delish!

I think its wasabi mayo with a smidge of sesame oil. So good!!!
I'm not a huge fan of Ping Pong but I agree that this appetizer is fantastic!
The Asian waiters are tastier than the food. The rumor is that Henry is expanding into the former Mamacita's space.
Not just a rumour. We talked to him when we were there and they are expanding and getting booze, I guess. And opening a sushi place across the street.
