Joaquin is really amazing in Walk the Line and I was thrilled to see him win the Globe last night. He was amazing, and I haven't seen Capote, but I am so in love with this movie that I want it to do well.
But, goodness, he seemed sort of messed up to me. I mean, is he on something? I hadn't heard the story about him asking if there were spiders on his head in some interview til last night. What's up with that?
Grade: A for his performance, D for being crazy

Well, the poor boy does believe he's Johnny Cash. That's not good.
Did you hear some of the questions they were asking him though? Like why is so messed up and stuff. I heard he just looked to the left and right and then asked, to no one in particular, how long the whole questioning thing was supposed to last.
But then again, I also read that they (the press) asked Philip Seymor-Hoffman how it felt to be actually be dressed up for once.
I didn't think he looked too messed up last night, just nervous. However, there is no excuse for the spider comment(although I thought he said something about a frog, not spiders...I could be wrong).
I heard he was on a talk show a few days before the Golden Globes and had a bad cold. Maybe he's just getting over that? I too thought he looked messed up.
does he get a B for being Hot in that fucked up way?
He just flipped his car in an accident so maybe he is/was on something.
